The 1st Liphook Scout Group Supporters Committee was set up to enable parents and friends who didn't wish to become uniformed leaders, to help run or assist with various group activities that were a necessary part of the groups programme.

Activities range from fund raising events to occasional help at meetings and camps. There is no commitment to attend every event just a willingness to help whenever possible. The more parents that are willing to help on these essential activities, the more the leaders can spend in providing a fulfilling and constructive programme.

Activities that the committee has already been involved in are:- the Christmas Fair, jumble sale, providing refreshments at the AGM, cooking and selling hotdogs at the LiDBA bike ride, helping out at various camps, providing refreshments at the district football competition etc.

The committee consists of a Chairman and a number of lay members who either take responsibility for organising an event or just turn up and help, whichever they prefer. If you feel you would like to help the group in this way please complete the attached form and send it to the 1st Liphook Scout Group.
